Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Was super happy with this place. I ordered a mushroom leek crepe with egg and a black & white mocha. B&W mocha wasn’t on the menu, but the barista was happy to make it for me after I told her what it was, and she did a great job. The crepe was delicious. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Raleigh area.

Bright, buzzy brunch spot with a sunny vibe and sandwiches that really deliver—hearty, thoughtfully made, and full of fresh, wholesome ingredients. The menu leans simple but smart: crusty breads, generous fillings, and well-balanced flavors that make each bite satisfying. The interior is clearly well designed—careful details, warm finishes, and Instagram-ready touches give the place character. One drawback: the space feels a touch cramped. Tables are close together, so it’s best for small groups or casual dates rather than large gatherings.

I’ll start with the positives: the food is absolutely delicious. I’ve tried almost everything there, and honestly, the food is the main reason I keep coming back. The coffee is also very good. That said, the atmosphere inside leaves a lot to be desired, and so does the service. The tables are placed very close to each other, and many of them are often left dirty. Dirty dishes also tend to sit around for quite a while. There’s also a constant damp, musty smell inside the building, which is hard to ignore. The windows are very dirty, and overall it feels like cleanliness is not being maintained properly. You can often see greasy marks left on the tables, and it honestly feels like they either don’t wipe them down at all or do it very poorly. The last time I visited, the restroom didn’t even have paper towels. I still go there because the food is incredibly tasty, but I really wish the staff at the register were friendlier and smiled more.

Had a really pleasant visit at Milo’s Cafe. The coffee was excellent, the food was just as good, and the whole place had a nice welcoming atmosphere. I went a little before noon on a weekday and the place was packed, which honestly says a lot by itself, but luckily I still managed to grab a table. Service was great even with how busy it was. Definitely a spot worth stopping by if you’re around Morrisville.

Overall pretty yummy. The prices are what we expected for a smaller cafe and the food was nice and fresh. The crepe was warm and filling and I had enough to save some for later. The croissant sandwich was yummy but wish it had a little more bread, buttt we know some heavily prefer more filling to bread. The side salad was fresh and light and complemented the sandwich well. Also got an iced hibiscus tea which wasn't too bad but would probably save on the tea next time. A little pricey in general but not out of the regular range of a smaller cafe, and the food you get is decent size and I was definitely satisfied at the end. Nice atmosphere and ambiance with flowers and giant teddy bears decorating the inside. I did wish the wooden benches and chairs had some cushion since it seemed like a lot of customers were doing work here. The parking is a bit annoying since it is right off the road and sometimes hard to exit.
